Bring close-up photography into your repertoire without the cost of expensive macro lenses – Canon's EF 12 II makes it easy, working in conjunction with many EF-lenses including the starter kit lens 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6. Moving the lens 12mm further away from the focal plane of the sensor, the extension tube enables close-up shooting that wouldn’t otherwise be possible, and is ideal for giving users a chance to experiment with macro photography.

The extension tube is compatible with all Canon lenses except for the Canon 15mm f/2.8 fisheye, 14mm f/2.8L and MP-E 65mm f/2.8, giving you the freedom to experiment with getting closer to your subjects, regardless of your glass collection. This is the 12mm version – Canon also produces a 25mm tube for getting even closer, available separately.
