The Canon EF 300mm f/4L IS USM telephoto lens offers portability and high image quality. It features UD lens elements and Super Spectra coatings to reduce ghosting and chromatic aberration and to ensure exceptional optical performance. Built-in Image Stabilisation technology compensates for camera shake to reduce blur from camera movement. The IS system for Canon telephoto lenses can be turned off in one direction for smooth panning shots. This high-quality L series lens is sealed for dust, and moisture, resistance.
This compact telephoto is a similar size and weight to the EF 70-200mm easy to add to a kit bag when you know you need a longer focal length. You can also extend the focal length of this lens with a 1.4x or 2x teleconverter for a compact solution to cover distant subjects. This lens is light enough to balance well with any Canon DSLR or Mirrorless body so shooting handheld is possible if you are on the move. For best results a monopod is recommended.
