Compatible with Canon EF lenses, including TS-E tilt-shift models, this extension tube is an inexpensive and easy way to add close-up capabilities to a lens, expanding photographic opportunities to include macro options. By moving the lens 25mm away from the focal plane of the sensor, the tube enables macro shots and close-up portraits that otherwise wouldn’t be possible.
The tube also has electrical connections, which maintain the connection between the camera and lens. It’s recommended for lenses with focal lengths of 50mm and up for best results.
