The Fujifilm XF 14mm f2.8 R Fujinon lens is a superb wide-angle prime for the X system. As capable in low light as many of Fujifilm’s other fine optics, it’s a great travelling companion for group shots and landscapes. With a minimum shooting distance of just 18cm it can also be brought to bear on close-up details, bringing the unique perspective of wide angle to a new range of subjects.
The internal optical construction of 10 elements in 7 groups, including 2 aspheric and 3 extra low dispersion elements, controls for image distortion and chromatic aberration, making for high-resolution images in all situations, from edge to edge. The seven-bladed aperture also creates pleasing defocused background areas, opening up further possibilities for creative expression with this winning lens.
