Its super-fast maximum aperture of f/1.4 means it’s possible to shoot handheld even in poor light as well as create beautifully shallow depths of field.
Fujifilm promises that lens distortion is at the absolute minimum, with the Fujifilm XF 23mm f/1.4 R using only optical correction rather than digital in order to maximise image quality. The lens also has a pleasingly compact form factor, meaning it’s not only great for portraits and studio photography, but also for taking on your travels.
