The Light Revolution LR4 base comes complete with a motor control system and just needs compatible lighting depending on the effects desired. The base system comprises of fifteen main components which can easily be assembled in a few minutes, the central hub unit which rotates the arms and delivers power to the lights, three adjustable legs which support the hub, two arms with pylons attached to mount the lights on and a separate table assembly complete with a 1000mm diameter circular table top.

Potentially any light source can be used with this system from simple torches through to lasers and bespoke configurations. This precision engineered system uses high quality bearings to ensure a smooth rotation of the hub, and the majority of the components are machined from hi-grade aluminium. The individual components are easily slotted together and secured using various fittings.

The system is very portable, can be transported in two cases and just needs a suitable jib or stand to support the camera above the subject. The footprint of the system is also small so does not need a large area to operate in, just a darkened room.
