The Marshall Electronics 7" High-resolution Field Monitor is equipped with an integrated HDMI loop-through. This means that the user can pass an HDMI video input through it and into another monitor for a second user, whether that’s a focus puller, assistant director or even the client themselves. The monitor itself delivers high-quality images at a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and provides a luminance of 450cd/m², a contrast ratio of 600:1, and a viewing angle of 140°(H)/100°(V).

The display provides a full suit of viewing customisation options and also has an adjustable backlight and markers, as well as HDMI auto color space and ratio detect, manual gamma adjustment, image flip, RGB check field / field detect, and RGB gain and bias control. It’s scratch-proof too, thanks to an optical-grade polycarbonate screen protector.
