Compatible with Nikon’s full-frame FX-format SLRs, the Nikon AF-S 24-120mm f/4G ED VR is designed to offer the highest in optical performance, with a constant f/4 aperture across its entire 5x optical zoom range. Also on board is Nikon’s Vibration Reduction II system, which allows sharper images to be captured when the lens is used handheld.
Vibration Reduction can be used in Normal and Active modes, depending on how much stabilisation the user requires. It can provide up to four stops of exposure compensation, hugely expanding the user’s options in low light. Also, Nikon’s Nano Crystal Coat reduces ghosting and flare and improves light transmission, and Silent Wave Motor (SWM) provides fast, quiet and accurate autofocus.
