The 45.7 megapixel Nikon Z7 II is the natural evolution of the popular Nikon Z7 mirrorless camera body. The Z7 II features dual memory card slots for extended storage in camera, or in-camera image backups across two memory cards. The improved image buffer is faster and deeper allowing for high resolution RAW or JPEG images to be recorded at a remarkable 10 frames per second. The buffer allows for up to 77 continuous RAW shots and up to 200 continuous JPEG images.
Nikon has improved the AF algorithm for the Z7 II with improved AF tracking and eye, face and animal detection for fast focus aquisition on a wide range of subjects. The body is built on the same chassis as the Nikon Z6 II so photographers needing a combination of high resolution and low light performance can switch easily between bodies.
