Lens boasts a wide f/2.8-4 maximum aperture and Power Optical Image Stabiliser to compensate for blurring when shooting handheld, and it’s also kitted out with a compact, rugged, splashproof and dustproof design.
Designed to cover the vast majority of general-use shooting situations, this is a great lens to use for a day’s travel or street photography, providing an equivalent focal range of 24-160mm. It also excels at video recording, with a micro-step drive system in the aperture control section that helps the camera smoothly catch up with brightness changes when zooming or panning. The design also has exceptional barycentric stability, minimising image shift while zooming.

(Image Stabilizer) , 5-axis Dual I.S. , and 5-axis Dual I.S. 2 system when mounted on an applicable Panasonic LUMIX G camera.
