Its bright f/2.8-4 aperture combines with Power O.I.S. to ensure sharp handheld shooting even in low light, while focusing is also smooth and precise, not to mention silent.
If used in conjunction with Panasonic cameras, the lens also supports 5-axis Dual I.S. 2 stabilisation system, making shots even smoother when handheld. Its optical construction of 21 elements in 15 groups means shots are sharp from edge to edge, while the micro stepper motor ensures smooth focus changes and is one of many features that also makes the lens perfect for shooting crisp 4K video.
