The Profoto B2 is an elegant, user-friendly and powerful studio head. It has TTL, it has HSS, it’s fast enough to keep up with even super-speedy cameras and it’s five times as powerful as the average speedlight. It’s light enough to use handheld, and can be used minimally as a subtle fill light, or can be cranked right up to take control of the ambient light.
Weighing in at 1.6kg, the B2 can be used on the belt or on the shoulder without issue. Its controls are simple and uncluttered with clear displays of settings readouts available. Multiple heads can also be co-ordinated via TTL, allowing you to fully realise your vision, whatever it may be. This is quite simply the last word in studio lighting.
