The RFi Softgrid from Profoto is used in conjunction with the firm’s RFi softboxes, which have a recessed front that allows for the Softgrid’s attachment. It reduces light spread to 50°, created a more directed light that still retains the softness of the softbox and eliminates spill light, making the overall effect more efficient and precise.
Profoto’s system of light-shaping tools is tremendously effective for achieving exactly the look you want, and this RFi Softgrid is a great way to get even more precise and accurate with your lighting. Please note that this is Softgrid only – head and softbox must be hired separately.
