It’s easy to pair the Profoto RFi Softgrid 50° 5' Octa with an RFi softbox. The softboxes have a recessed front specifically designed for the attachment of the Softgrid, and this allows you to reduce the light spread to 50°. Essentially you get the best of both worlds – a light that’s soft and flattering thanks to the softbox, but also directional and able to be precisely placed on a subject. Eliminating a large amount of spill light, this makes your lighting more efficient.
Use Profoto’s light-shaping tools to sculpt the light exactly as you want it, creating a flattering and directional light that’s perfect for portraits, products, still life, macro and more. Please note that this is the Softgrid only – the head and softbox must be hired separately.
