Sony’s FE 12-24mm f4 G lens is one of the widest full-frame E-mount lenses, providing a dynamic perspective for all sorts of different types of photography as well as being eminently suited to video work. It optical design features four aspherical elements to ensure optimal corner-to-corner sharpness, while three ED glass elements and one Super ED glass element all combine to minimise chromatic aberration throughout the zoom range.
The autofocus system of the Sony FE 12-24mm f4 G Lens uses a DDSSM (Direct Drive Super Sonic Wave Motor), which makes it fast, quiet and extremely precise. There’s also a customisable focus hold button and a focus mode switch. It’s a hugely impressive lens that makes for the perfect pairing with any E-mount camera.
