Designed using feedback and advice from documentary shooters, the Sony PXW-FS7 is a major improvement on the popular PXW-FS5 and is a peerless tool for all kinds of filmmaking. Its redesigned handgrip offers a superior hold, while ergonomics and controls have in general been overhauled to be easier and more comfortable to use. It can shoot 4K video in a variety of formats, as well as Full HD at up to 180fps for super-slow-motion footage. All this is captured in beautiful, rich detail on the Super 35 sensor.
The Sony E-mount gives users access to the enormous range of fantastic lenses enjoyed by users of the Alpha 7 system. Sitting comfortably on the shoulder without the need for a complex rig, the Sony PXW-FS7 is the documentary filmmaker’s tool for all shoots, all weathers and all purposes.
