The generous f/1.4 maximum aperture is fantastic in low light and produces a gorgeously shallow depth of field with beautiful bokeh, while the construction of 16 elements in 13 groups ensures edge-to-edge sharpness in every image.
Thanks to the expertise of the manufacturers at Zeiss, this is a full-frame lens that offers the quality of medium format, though it’s also usable on APS-C cameras. The construction provides outstanding correction of all types of optical aberration, and the front element has also been treated with T* anti-reflective coating to suppress flare and ghosting. This version is for Nikon F-mount.
