Use the Manfrotto MH057A5 pan head to take sequential, constant-angle shots around a single axis with your camera in either portrait or landscape orientation – it makes smooth panning easy and efficient. With the camera and lens in line with the centre of panoramic rotation, you’re free to create panorama shots without parallax effects causing any problems when you come to stitch the images together.
Built around the 300N panoramic system, the MH057A5 pan head adds a system of sliding plates for accurate positioning of the camera nodal point, all of which have engraved index rules to make it easier to subsequently reposition the camera at the same point. Suitable for the vast majority of DSLR cameras using wide-angle or standard lenses, the MH057A5 pan head is one of the most sophisticated panning tools you can hire.
